USTA NNMTA Offers New High School League Option for non-NMAA Schools

February 15, 2013 10:52 AM
ANNOUNCEMENT:
Private or other schools that do not participate in NMAA sanctioned high school athletics and are not members of the NMAA are invited to participate in a new tennis league being offered by USTA NNMTA in conjunction with the high school JV/Club Tennis Program.

Boys and girls teams will be established for interested schools. Matches will start March 6th.  Byes can be provided to schools that are not ready to participate the first week.  We expect the league season to be very flexible this first year to accommodate growth in the league. The league will provide a 4 singles and 2 doubles format. Play will be one set, no ad, with a tie-breaker at six all. All teams will be invited to play the tournament at the end of the season April 20 and 21.

For additional information, please contact Becky Lee at 505-280-2465 or Joan Lasche, Albuquerque Home School Association Vice-President at 505-244-1122.
