Quail Ridge Resort in Taos defeated Angel Fire Resort in both team matches on Saturday July 19 in Angel Fire and August 2nd in Taos.
Quail Ridge defeated Angel Fire eight matches to four in Angel Fire. There were six men's double's and six women's doubles. A ten point tie-breaker was played for the entire third set. Taos won three out of five third set tie-breakers in the third set.
Quail Ridge then also defeated Angel Fire in Taos on Saturday, August 2nd six matches to three. There were six men's doubles and three ladies doubles. Teams played the entire third set out.

The host club provided a lunch after the match. The inter-clubs are an annual event started by Quail Ridge professional Kurt Edelbrock. Kurt and Angel Fire Tennis Director were very pleased with both matches. "There is a lot of camaraderie among both teams. The players from both teams have gotten to know each other over the years and it has become both a great competitive and social event."
