The ColemanVision Tennis Championships, a USTA Pro Circuit Event, is returning to Tanoan Country Club September 15th  – 22nd.   USTA Northern New Mexico, the New Mexico Youth Tennis Foundation, and ColemanVision urge all New Mexico tennis fans and players to mark their calendars  and consider becoming a sponsor of this year’s tournament!   The level of play has improved year after year.  Proceeds from the tournament go to the New Mexico Youth Tennis Foundation (NMYTF) and help raise money for youth tennis in New Mexico.  The 2012 CVTC raised close to $20,000.00 and gave the opportunity to 1000 children and young adults to see great tennis and participate in clinics conducted by the young women touring professionals and area teaching professionals.  Funds raised by the NMYTF are used to fund after school programs, including USTA NNMTA’s successful Middle School League Program and the NNMTA’s high school Junior Varsity League, and to provide scholarships to deserving area youth.

 

Coleman alums have done well at Grand Slam and other major events over the last year.  Maria Sanchez, Sloane Stephens, Asia Muhammed, and Varvara Lepchenko are only a few of the alums to watch.  Sponsorship levels range from a "Friend of Tournament" Sponsor for $150.00 to $500.00 up to a $10,000.00 Platinum Sponsorship level.  For more information on sponsorships contact Sue Jollensten, Tournament Director at 505-823-6599 or via e-mail at nmytf@comcast.net.   Ticket information will be available beginning in June at www.colemanvision.com.
