2017 Coleman Vision $80K Tournament Wild Card Players Announced

20thAnniversaryColemanALBUQUERQUE – September 15, 2017- Tournament Director, Bobby Bull is pleased to announce Eldorado High School players Carmen Corley and Ivana Corley have each been given a Wild Card for the Singles Qualifying Draw in the 2017 $80,000 Coleman Vision Tennis Championships. They will be among the 32 playing for spots in the main draw of the tournament. As a doubles team they have also been granted a Wild Card into the Main Doubles draw.

Carmen Corley was the winner of the Women’s Open Division in the 2017 UNM Loren Dils Labor Day Tennis Classic. She is also the reigning high school state 6A singles champion. She follows in the footsteps of her sister Ivana, who was also given a qualifying wild card for the 2016 Coleman Vision Tennis Championships.

Bull also announced a Main Draw Wild Card for Maria Sanchez, a past singles winner of this tournament. Sanchez and partner Michaella Krjicek won the doubles championship in 2016.

Qualifying matches begin Sunday, September 17 at 10:00 AM and doubles matches begin Tuesday, September 19 at 10:00 AM at the Tanoan Country Club.

From 10:30 AM to 12:30 AM on Sunday, September 17, all local middle school tennis teams are invited for a clinic with the pros.
