The NNMTA Board of Directors, after spending many, many months of discussion and receiving input from league players all over NNM, have voted overwhelmingly in favor of the option listed below. This will be the league format for 2004.
SF & ABQ will continue to play in the same league and continue with the current weekend scheduling. However, each team will be scheduled one weekday travel match in May or June, with teams having the choice of rescheduling their weekday match on their own. While travel during the week is difficult because of work, a weekday match would open more weekends for scheduled tournament play.
