Summer Tennis Academy is held at the La Cueva High School tennis courts.
Camp 1: June 7 - 17; Camp 2: June 21 - July 1; Camp 3: July 5 -15; Camp 4: July 19 - 29
Cost: $75 for 8 sessions or $130 for 16 sessions (2 camps)--a savings of $20
"Cubbies" Academy (ages 4-7): 1:00 - 1:50 p.m. ACTIVITIES: Use little racquets (loans available), nerfballs, starballs, targets, treats, certificates and a "Way Cool" t-shirt for the summer!
Jumping Juniors Academy (ages 8-16): 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. ACTIVITIES: Kids learn stroke production, strategy, sportsmanship, consistency, scoring, and goal setting to enhance their game. Treats, certificates, and a "Way Cool" t-shirt for summer.
DJ's Summer Tournament Juniors (ages 9-16): Cost is $150 for the summer! Time: 2:00 - 3:30 or 4:00 p.m. (sometimes later because of team tennis). Must be approved by Dick Johnson. Tournament Juniors will play Junior US team tennis and USTA tournaments. ACTIVITIES: Competitive drills, challenge ladder, sportsmanship, fitness, footwork, and mental toughness make this academy extremely worthwhile! Includes a "Way Cool" t-shirt for summer!
Private lessons by appointment: Adults, $40/hour; Juniors, $30/hour. Lesson features stroke analysis, drills suited for ability; evaluation and goal setting. Grand Slam Private Lesson Packages: Adults, 5 lessons for $160; Juniors, 5 lessons for $130
