The ColemanVision Tennis Championships is the
Highest USTA level sanctioned event.
One of only four tournaments at this level nationally.
Charity: Southwest Tennis Foundation (a 501C-3 charity)
Our tournament has raised over $65,000 for local charities.
Format: Thirty-two (32) players main draw singles.
Sixteen (16) team doubles draw.
Thirty-two (32) player qualifying draw to determine
Four spots into the main draw
USTA, WTA, ITF sanctioned event.
Prize Money: $75,000
WTA Points: 54 points to the winner. (A player must reach the quarterfinals
of the US Open to receive an equal number of points.)
Level of Play: Women Tennis Professionals with a world ranking of 40-155
(higher ranked possible); 20-25 countries represented and 20 US States.
Schedule of Play: Thirty-two (32) player qualifier tournament September 21-22.
Main Draw Singles: September 23-28.
Main Draw Doubles: September 24-28.
Matches begin at 10am Feature Match is on Wed-Fri. evenings 5pm
Finals, Singles and Doubles on Sunday September 28th
Awards presentation at conclusion of each final match.
