Each tournament in the Grand Prix Series must be entered separately, and can be found online at www.usta.com, under TennisLink, “Tournaments”. Enter the ID # given above. USPTA GRAND PRIX POINT SYSTEM USED. Points are awarded as follows:
1 Point for Entering, 2 Points for each win in the Main Draw and 1 Point for each win in the Consolation Draw.
Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners for each age group in the Grand Prix Series will be presented at a time and place to be announced. For more information, call Dick Johnson @ 507-6795.

Unsanctioned Sunday Afternoon Singles Tournaments for Unranked Middle School Boys and Girls
1-4 PM @ La Cueva High School
Dates: January 23rd, February 13th, and March 13th
Cost: $10 per tournament
Eligibility: Any 6th, 7th, or 8th grade boy or girl (unranked as of 1/23/05)
Points will be awarded as follows: 1 Point for Entering and 2 Points for each win. Prizes for the top point winners in each division will be awarded at the final tournament. Call Dick Johnson @ 507-6795 for further information. ¨ USTA NNMTA Youth Competition and Training Centers

Call D’Wayne Begay at 239-3500 for information about qualifying for the Centers and the fees. 2005’s spring sessions will be held 1/9, 1/30, 2/13, 3/6, 3/20 & 4/10 at the UNM Lobo Tennis Club. Coaching is by area pros, including D’Wayne Begay of Four Hills Country Club.
