Submission Guidelines
How to Submit a Story, Announcement or Article
There is no compensation from NNMTA for submitting content to the website. Our association is mainly a volunteer effort and submissions to the website are an important part of ensuring the website remains a valuable tool for our users.
Please follow these guidelines before submitting anything to the website:
Proof your work and use a word processor with spelling and grammar checking to ensure your submission is refined enough to be published. We hope you know what we mean. If you are not sure please have at least one other person proofread your work before sending it in. We cannot post anything that doesn't meet a minimum standard of grammatical decency. To post or not to post is at the sole discretion of NNMTA.
The paragraph above takes care of most of it, but if you want to improve the chances of your submission being posted keep your writing clear and concise. (Avoid elaborate and excessive demonstrations of vocabulary or literary prowess)
Submissions can cover any topic related to Northern New Mexico tennis, including announcements, rules, tennis results, local stories, accomplishments etc. If your story is heartfelt and your topic is important in your opinion, you will probably convey that in your writing and your submission will most likely be posted.
Basically, articles can cover any topic that is tennis related and hopefully not self-serving. We reserve the right to refuse posting to anybody, but submissions of all types are always welcome.
NNMTA reserves the right to edit for style, content, clarity and length.
